Year-round program

One vendor for the whole calendar

Every service on this site rolled into a written scope you sign once. Same crew every visit, same weekday every week, one invoice line per month. No surprise add-ons, no monthly averaging on a quote you never approved. Want the cost breakdown first? See how our pricing works.

The work, season by season

Most lawn-care companies show up to mow and leave. The program covers the seasonal work that actually determines how a property looks year over year — the aeration window, the mulch timing, the pre-emergent window, the final mow before snow.

Spring March – May
  • Spring cleanup pass (debris, leaves missed in fall)
  • First mow at 3.5" once soil temps hit 50°F for a week
  • Pre-emergent crabgrass application (April 1-15 window)
  • Bed-edge re-cut and mulch install
  • Hedge shape-up before active growth
  • First fertilizer round when forsythia blooms
Summer June – August
  • Weekly mowing on a locked-in weekday
  • Mowing height raises to 4" for heat stress
  • Mid-season hedge trim
  • Spot weed control as needed
  • Pressure-wash or soft-wash add-on (typical mid-summer window)
  • Watering / irrigation audit on request
Fall September – November
  • Core aeration + overseed (late Aug – mid Oct window)
  • Heaviest fertilizer round of the year (early Sept)
  • Leaf cleanup passes (Oct – mid-Dec, multiple visits)
  • Bed cleanout and fall mulch refresh
  • Final mow at 2.5" before snow
  • Winterizer fertilizer (Oct 25 – Nov 15)
Winter December – February
  • Dormant pruning for shrubs and small trees
  • Hardscape inspection and pressure-wash on warm spells
  • Property walks after major storms
  • Equipment maintenance (clients don't see this but it's why we show up in March)
  • Spring plan and route confirmation for the next season

Why most clients move from piecemeal to a program

People usually start with a one-time mow or a single-service quote — that's how every relationship begins. After two or three months, most clients ask the same question: "Can you just handle the rest of the property too?" The program is the answer to that question, written down once so we both know what's covered.

The big advantage isn't the price (a program isn't cheaper than piecemeal — it's roughly the same once you add it all up). The advantage is that we already have route access to your property every week, so adding work mid-season is just a phone call instead of starting over with a new quote.

The second advantage is that we own the seasonal timing. You don't have to remember that pre-emergent has a two-week window in April, or that aeration in Central Ohio is fall-only on clay soils, or that the final mow needs to drop to 2.5". We do it on the right day for your property.

Frequently asked — maintenance program

How is this different from a one-time mow or quote?

A one-time mow is a single visit at our $40 minimum. The maintenance program locks in your route slot for the whole season, covers everything in your written scope (mowing, mulch, hedge, aeration, leaf cleanup), and gives you a single invoice line per month instead of separate quotes for each service.

Is it billed monthly or per visit?

Both options exist. Per-visit gives you the most transparency — you see exactly what each service costs. Flat-monthly smooths cash flow across the season (April-November averages). We'll quote both ways so you can pick what fits your budgeting style.

Can I add or drop services mid-season?

Yes. Most clients add things mid-season (a soft-wash, a stump grind, a hedge refresh) once they see how the basics run. We adjust the written scope and the next invoice — no contract penalty, no surprise fees.

Do you do snow removal?

Not directly — we coordinate with snow-removal subcontractors for commercial properties on the program, but residential snow is too weather-dependent for us to commit to. We refer you to local plow contractors who run reliable routes.

How quickly can I get on the program?

Residential routes can add a property within 1-2 weeks once the quote is signed. Commercial walkthroughs are scheduled within 5 business days. Emergency or storm-cleanup needs often get same-week service.

What if I want to cancel?

No long-term contract. Cancel anytime with two weeks notice so we can rebalance the route. We don't charge cancellation fees and we don't lock you in for the year.
